Academic Year 2006-2007

          Dnyanopasak Physical Education College established in the year 1990 and it is affiliated to Swami Ramanand Teerth Marathwada University, Nanded.  It has been sanctioned with 50 seats admission capacity every year b the NCTE Bhopal.  The students of any faculty who have passed their degree examination with second class and who have played any games in the University, Inter University, District level or State level are eligible to taking admission in the college.  In the Arts faculty the students who have taken physical education as one of he optional subject have been taken as eligible candidates for admission.

          In the academic year 2006-07 admission process completed by the CET.  Admision commenced on 1.7.2006  and 50 (Fifty) students have taken admission.  Practice are being conducted in the morning from 6.30 am to 8.20 am and the theory previous are being conducted in the after noon daily from 12.45 pm to 3.45 pm.  Again evening from 4.00 pm to 6.30 pm practical are being conducted along with the practical of various games.

          Principal Mrs. S.K. Arkule and her colleague with their joint efforts of planning and management plan the various activities related to the students and extra curricular activities in the extra curricular activities various games activities are organized along with the guest lectures of well versed individuals in the respective fiel.  The various teams have been trained properly in the college on the campus and the same teams have been sent to participate in the university, inter university, district and state level games.

          The following student have participated in the All India Iner University games as shown against their names and they have achieved excellent and bright record and they have gained a name and thereby they have got an important role to play in the itner university games.

          This College has organized the following sports activities:

1)      District interschool athletics tournaments

2)      Iner collegiate tournaments (Men) Zone C - Volleyball & Kabaddi (m/w)

          Teaching methods in the following subjects are available Marathi, Hindi, English, History, Geography, Science, Mathematics and these methods practical are being conducted in the following schools of its city.  Dnyandeep School, Prabhavati, Bhartiya Bal Vidya Mandir in the above mentioned schools practical and theory lessons of physical education of each students.

          Dnyanopasak Physical Education College has got its own enormous college campus along with large playing ground where students have been trained in the various games properly even college has got its own attractive building.

          Besides the library on Physical Education books it has also got a good stock at reference books which enlightened and entertain the readers.  It has also got a reading section as part of it.

          District sports after decided to conduct some game on the campus during 2005 and the same games were conducted very successfully by the college.

          Prof. Satpute C.B. has worked as Team Manager for Swami Ramanand Teerth Marathwada University, Nanded for Swimming Team of All India (Women held at Chandigarh (Punjab-2006-07)

          Prof. Wagh B.P. has worked as Coach for Basket Ball (Women) Teach of Swami Ramanand Teerth Marathwada University, Nanded in Ashwamedh Tournaments 2006-07 held at Uttar Maharashtra University, Jalgaon.

          Since 1990 Dnyanopasak College of Physical Education has produced very excellent result which average is to 100% and number of students appeared in the merit list of the University.

          Number of the students of this college have been working on the higher in the various fields of education and participation of the ladies students in one of the peculiar factor lecturer in Physical Education, teacher, police officers, police who have taken education in this college have been observed working very honestly in the respective jobs, college is very much proud of these students.

          IN the near future college has a play of commencing post graduate course in Physical Education.  The demand of rural students particularly those who have achieved good name in the various sport activities to commenced M.P.Ed. facility at this centre.  The learned and well versed teachers will guide and help the students gain the benefit of their long teaching experience.

          As per the demand of time the college has decided to create interest of the sport among the citizens and there by achieve the goal of building a healthy society and the goal will be achieve very soon.

          Totally speaking the college has enhanced the full confidence amongst the students urban and rural area and thereby interest has been created though two special awareness successfully that is why the name and fame of the college has spread widely allover Marathwada.
